SFJAZZ School Day Concerts provide K-12 students and educators with an exciting, interactive opportunity to witness the magic of live performance in the SFJAZZ Center’s beautiful Miner Auditorium. The performances are curated by leading Bay Area performing artists and educators, and include a curriculum packet with learning goals and important context that can be shared with your classrooms ahead of and after the performance.
This winter, all Kindergarten teachers will administer the DIBELS/Lectura assessments (January 26-February 20), as outlined in SFUSD’s Assessment Plan, and State Senate Bill 114. Read to find resources and supports available to facilitate screening of all Kindergarten students.
Students in grades 1&2 who are newly enrolled, not screened in Fall, and who scored at-risk during the Fall Reading Difficulties Screener administration will be screened January 26-February 20. The Amira platform is set up for ALL students to be assessed in grades K-5 upon their first log in within the window Jan 26-Feb 20.
The SFUSD Wellness & Health Education Action Team is putting on a series of webinars for parents/guardians/caregivers to address important issues and topics facing our students and families.
The District will participate in the Classified School Employee Summer Assistance Program (CSESAP) for the 2026-27 school year and enrollment will be open from January 21, 2026 through March 1, 2026.
Non-commissioned Financial Advisors at SchoolsFirst FCU, will be offering complimentary 45-minute one-on-one retirement planning appointments (in person) for all full-time and part-time SFUSD employees from Jan. 12-16 and Jan. 26-30.
Student and Family Services (SFSD) will offer weekly Office Hours with Rebeca Garcia, Immunization Supervisor for SFUSD, every Friday from 9:00–11:00am starting January 9th.
