Caltrans will be closing large portions of 19th Avenue on two upcoming weekends. The next closure begins this Friday, May 8 at 3 a.m. The closures may impact school drop-off and pickup traffic, in addition to weekend travel. Students, families, and staff should expect major delays and detours, and plan for significantly increased travel time, especially for school commutes, activities, and weekend events.

Teachers who are recommended for hire during this window- May 11–15 --may accept positions without requiring release from their current principal.

Due to a new configuration in Red Rover, beginning on March 11, 2026 a notification will display at the time of submission indicating whether the employee has sufficient time off to cover the requested absence.

Attendees will be able to provide feedback on the 2026-2027 SFUSD special education policies, governance and budget as well as the special education service plan. The information gathered at the meeting will inform SFUSD Special Education and CAC priorities for the coming year.
