Site Counselors have received flyers and a list of eligible students to recruit and register for SAILL on Friday, March 13, 2026.
All registrations should be completed with student consent by May 13th.

Reclassification Round 2 is happening now. The list of eligible EL students has been shared with teachers. Next steps are Teacher Recommendation and Parent Consultation. Form is due April 17th.

SFUSD is inviting educators, families, and community members to serve on the Voices Curriculum Review Committee. This is an opportunity to work together to review and strengthen the district’s pilot Ethnic Studies curriculum and ensure it reflects our values and the diversity of San Francisco. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please fill out our interest form by Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 5 p.m.

We are excited to announce there is a new Biliteracy Program Participation Recognition Award promoted by the California Department of Education available to all 5th graders enrolled in programs leading to bilingualism and biliteracy. This award serves as an entry point on a student’s pathway to earning the Seal of Biliteracy upon graduation from high school.

An all day event to prepare students and parents/guardians for 6th and 9th grades.

Are you a teacher with 3+ years experience and have a clear credential? You could make 5K+ by mentoring new teachers for the SFUSD Induction Program (SIP).

SFUSD Indian Education will host a 2-part Beadwork Series for Indigenous students and their families out of our center at Sanchez Elementary. Join us for one or both evenings to Learn and Share about the cultural practice of Beadwork.
