The Kindergarten Readiness Inventory (KRI) is administered September 3-27.  Select KRI assessment materials have been updated for the 2024-25 administration. Details available at: https://bit.ly/KRIMaterialsUpdate.

In 2024-25, Star assessments will be administered to students from Kindergarten to High School as part of SFUSD's  Assessment Plan. Find links to resources for supporting successful administration/data use during forthcoming Fall Star Windows: HS (Sept 3-27) and K-8 (Oct 7 to Nov 1).

The SFUSD 2024-25 Assessment Plan Overview and Calendar are now available; including details regarding the SFUSD Assessment System, timeline, interim assessment plan, and planning information for PK-HS school teams, teachers, and administrators.

Next year, there will be new high school interim assessments for reading and math. Star Reading and Star Math will be administered in lieu of Reading Inventory (RI) and Math Milestone Tasks (MMT's).

The required Gr K-2 Spring 2024 Star Administration ends on May 17. Teachers will administer the Star Early Literacy assessment to all Kindergarten students, and Star Reading and Star Math to all grade 1 & 2 students.

By noon on May 21, the reporting period for TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards (SBRC’s) for Trimester 3 will close. Teachers will ensure all 2023-24 Report Cards are complete and saved. Principals will review and contact DoT regarding completion of all TK-5 Standards-Based Report Cards.

Required Gr K-2 Spring 2024 Star Administration is Apr 22-May 17. Star assessments can optionally be administered in Grade 3-8 ELA and Math classrooms. NEW! All grade 6-8 Science and Social Studies teachers have access to view Star assessment data via the Renaissance platform.

Winter 2024 Star Assessment Administration for Grades K-8 concludes on Feb. 23

Reminders and resources for teachers and leaders to complete T2 Elementary TK-5 Standards Based Report Cards (SBRC’s) by Feb 26.

Per the 2023-24 SFUSD Assessment Plan, the administration Reading Inventory(RI) is administered January 16-February 16 to all grade 9 and 10 students, and  Math Milestone Tasks is administered February 2-March 8 to students in the following courses: Alg 1, Geo, Alg 2, Alg 2/Pre-Cal.
