Implementation of the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) will begin January 17, 2022 in randomly chosen 6th, 7th, 9th and 11th grade classrooms.

The January Truancy Notification Window opens on Monday, January 10th.  Sites must complete the notification process, or Truancy Letters will not be attached to ParentVUE.  

During this holiday break it's important to remember that anytime different households gather and mix indoors, or if you travel, people are at higher risk for COVID-19.  Proactive testing before returning can prevent exposures, outbreaks and unnecessary missed days for SFUSD staff and students.

Implementation of the California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) will begin January 2022 in randomly chosen 6th, 7th, 9th and 11th grade classrooms.

SF Department of Public Health guidelines encourage staff and students who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to quarantine and test after travel, as recommended by the CDC.  

School staff can use these slides to present to students on what to expect if they receive the COVID-19 vaccine, and to review the COVID-19 school protocols.

SFUSD is not accepting COVID-19 tests done at home! And new guidance has removed restrictions from field trips during the day.

The December truancy notification window will open on Monday, Dec. 13th.  Please note that truancy reports are now accessed directly in Synergy's Attendance V2 area, and will not be included in the email to attendance leads.
