The September truancy window has closed; the October Truancy Notification window is open October 12-18.

Here are a few reminders and updates related to COVID safety protocols.

Each site's Comprehensive School Safety Plan (CSSP) for the 2021/22 school year is due on October 8th. 

Office hours provide 15 minute consultation on Attendance, COVID Response, Tier 1 Supports, CCT Questions, Beacon-ExCEL After School Program, Counseling and Post-Secondary, and Clinical Consultation. 

Weekly COVID testing is available for SFUSD staff this Fall term. Test kit samples can be dropped off at a school or at 555 Franklin. View the testing schedule for more details.

Participate in free, virtual, interactive and personalized coaching to improve classroom or clinical practices to support Transgender, Gender Nonconforming and Nonbinary students, and implement inclusive health education. 

A new Synergy Truancy Module is replacing BASIS this year. Please see the resources below to support the implementation of the new truancy module, including training & office hours.

Synergy has replaced BASIS for monitoring student attendance and issuing truancy letters. We're offering training and support for sites and the school point person to manage technical components of the truancy process. The first run of truancy notification letters will be generated on Monday, Sept. 13th.
