MS (6-8) and HS Counselors: Math Validation Test Information and 9th grade math enrollment

SFUSD April 6, 2023
All SFUSD 8th graders take CCSS Math 8, and all 9th graders are automatically placed in SFUSD’s CCSS Algebra 1 course. SFUSD’s Math Placement Policy (6152.1) provides an exception for students who have taken an Algebra 1 class outside of SFUSD.
