Getting a COVID-19 test is not a requirement to return to school on January 3rd. 

However, SFDPH has recommended that all students and staff get tested for COVID-19 one to two days before returning to school regardless of vaccination status, even if you are without symptoms. Proactive testing before returning to school can help prevent exposures, outbreaks and unnecessary missed days for SFUSD staff and students.

Please note that the following are 3rd party testing sites not operated by SFUSD. Due to holiday volume and supply shortages availability might be limited. There might be a cost associated with some of these testing options. Please contact the individual sites to request more information.

Curative Covid Self-Testing Kiosk in Parkmerced

You don't have to have insurance. But if you do have it, you have to submit your insurance information. Expect a 1-2 day turnaround after your test arrives at the lab.

Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 8am - 3pm. Drop-ins are welcome. Or you can book an appointment.

SFUSD is partnering with Safer Together to offer free mobile rapid testing as staff and students return from the Winter Break from January 2-9, in addition to Color testing in 2022. 

Please use bit.ly/sfusdtesting to register for testing with Safer Together. Appointments are required and we may not be able to accommodate walk ins with no appointments.
