Middle School Supports: Who do I go to for help?

School Counselor
- I will work with you to find strategies for being the best student you can be.
- I will help you build their skills to find solutions to improving grades, working out issues with friends, and getting ready for high school.
School Social Worker
- I also help students find strategies to be the best you can be.
- I will help you build skills to improve in school and work with you on challenges you may be having.
- My focus is on mental health.
School Nurse
- I help students stay healthy by providing education on health and wellness topics.
- I help students with specific medical needs.
Office Secretary
- I help direct people when they come into school and make sure they sign-in.
- I answer questions about school operations, events that are on the calendar and also have emergency contact information.
After School Program
- Provide a place to study and hang out after school.
- Provide fun programs like Maker’s Space or gardening.
Campus Security
- I make sure that school is a safe place and students are acting in ways that do not put themselves or others in harm’s way.
- I can help respond to unsafe situations.
Principal and Assistant Principal
- We are responsible for setting up a school structure that ensures all students and staff have a safe and positive learning environment.
- If there is something the school could be doing better at, please let us know!
Teacher
- I educate students in specific topics (like math, science, language arts, PE, etc).
- I inspire and encourage learning in all students.
