Han Phung is an educator, collaborator, and equity-focused advocate for the public school system. During the twenty plus years of working in urban school districts (Los Angeles, Oakland and San Francisco), her experience has spanned multiple levels from teaching in secondary schools to facilitating learning for adults: two years as a leadership coach and facilitator, seven years as a high and middle school administrator, six years of 6th- 12th-grade teaching, and over 5 years supervising, collaborating, coaching and leading principals. Ms. Phung is currently leading the middle grades through a redesign process that integrates deeper learning. Han completed her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and her M.A. at UC Berkeley.
