Han Phung
Han Phung is an educator, collaborator, and equity-focused advocate for the public school system. During the twenty years of working in urban school districts, her experience has spanned multiple levels from teaching middle school to facilitating learning for adults: two years as a leadership coach and facilitator, seven years as a high and middle school administrator, six years of 6th- 12th-grade teaching, and five years supervising, collaborating, coaching and leading principals. She partnerships and focuses on adult assets inspires and supports people toward a common goal. Ms. Phung is currently leading the middle grades through a redesign process that integrates deeper learning. Han completed her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and her M.A. at UC Berkeley.
She oversees SFUSD middle schools, which are comprised of the following schools:
