At SFUSD, we have nutrition standards set by Student Nutrition Services with input from child nutrition experts. These standards apply to all food and beverages served at schools.

For more information, you can review our Nutrition Guidelines and Wellness Policy

  • Download a copy of our Nutrition Guidelines for information about food quality standards for meat, poultry, dairy, and more.
  • Find fun activities, recipes and healthy shopping lists for your family!

To find your school menu, please view Our Menus

  • Select the grade level and click on the folder with the school name.
  • Do you have kids at different schools? Their menus may be different. Meal programs are designed for each school's unique needs and available kitchen facilities.
  • Two months of menus are posted at a time. Printed menus are posted in the cafeteria and/or school office. Keep in mind that posted menus are subject to change due to product availability.

We recognize there are challenges at this time with viewing the menus online. Student Nutrition Services and SFUSD Department of Technology are working together to resolve this issue. If you have a Gmail (email) account, log in for better success in viewing the menus. If you are having trouble viewing your school menu, any school staff member can assist you, or email us at SchoolLunch@sfusd.edu and we can email you a current menu.

Want to know more about the nutritional content of school meals?

  1. Visit Special Meals. Scroll to the section titled “Allergen Reports and Nutritional Analysis
  2. Follow the link to a Google Drive folder that has folders for each month of the year.
  3. Inside each month’s folder are detailed reports with nutritional information for individual meals and common food allergens such as Egg, Milk, Soy, and Wheat.

Does your child need special meal accommodations?

  • Food substitutions are available for students due to food allergies, intolerances, or disabilities that restrict their diet. With your child’s doctor, please complete the Medical Statement to Request Special Meals and/or Accommodations Form available in multiple languages: English, Español, 中文, Tiếng Việt, عربى, Tagalog. Submit the form via email to SchoolLunch@sfusd.edu. Electronic signatures are accepted at this time.

Please allow up to 10 business days for any special diet orders to be accommodated.

If you or someone you know is experiencing food insecurity, please share our List of Other Food Resources
