Meet our Student Ambassadors! A group of students is central to our design work this year in partnership with the SFUSD and Mission Bay community! Aysia - The Academy @ McAteer The Hub should be a place that brings out the students spark of creativity and be centered around student voice Canita - Marshall HS If I were at the Hub, I’d want to deeply study mental health. I want to take several tests that scientifically reflect my brain and do activities to address that result. Clad - Galileo HS The Hub should be a place where students can come from any background and go for their passion in the science/medical field. Hua - Marshall HS The Hub should help students to find their passions and get exposed with STEM, health, and biotech fields. I would love to do research on different types of cancer and treatments with UCSF professionals. Jason - Marshall HS We need the Hub because it will be a great space for students to explore different fields in biotech. If students don’t know what they want to do after high school, they will be able to grow new interests. Khanif - Mission HS The Hub is giving kids a chance to learn more about how the world is progressing. While giving us the opportunity to give kids an education. Malaya - Balboa HS The Hub will provide opportunities for students to work in real job settings, gaining knowledge that can only be learned through experience! “The movement must go beyond its leaders.” -Larry Itliong Melissa - Mission HS The Hub is, by the youth for the youth, providing hands-on, new STEM experiences alongside partnership with innovative companies. Natalie - Galileo HS The Hub will expand students' perspectives on what education should really be. It will also be a place where students come from different communities to work with professionals. Nikko - Mission HS William - Mission HS The Hub is about reinventing the education system from the ground up. We need it because there is a lack of black and latino representation in STEM This page was last updated on December 13, 2021
