More Applications Available for Affordable Rental Housing Prioritizing SFUSD Employees 

Applications are being accepted starting September 5th (approximately 11:00am) for housing at Shirley Chisholm Village, SFUSD's first affordable rental housing development prioritizing SFUSD employees! Applications will be available through September 26th at 5:00pm on DAHLIA, the San Francisco Housing Portal. 

This second application period is open to all SFUSD employees who did not previously apply and the general public. SFUSD employees will receive priority for all apartments over the general public. Income restrictions and San Francisco Housing Preferences will also apply. 

Take the SFUSD Housing Survey

We know that finding affordable, stable housing is a challenge for our educators and employees. In order to develop a housing strategy that is responsive to staff needs, the District is collecting information on employee housing preferences through a brief online survey. Data gathered from this anonymous survey will inform the next steps in the District's housing strategy. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Responses are due by May 24th.
