Malo e lelei, SFUSD's Native Hawaiian & Pacific Islander Education Student Programs is offering an Introductory Tongan Language Course for SFUSD middle and high school students. We are looking for a certificated staff member to support and monitor the course. You do not need to know Tongan. Certificated staff will be paid approximately 12-18 extended calendar hours.
If a student has unexcused absences, the school or district will notify the family/guardian, call the student’s home, and request meetings with the parent/guardian to develop an action plan and identify any support services the family needs to help the student get to school.
