Distance Learning Update
Students are required to attend school daily during distance learning.
If students are not able to attend school due to illness/appointments, parents/guardians should contact our counseling secretary Stephanie Ruffin at RuffinS@sfusd.edu and/or grade level counselor. It is also best practice and encouraged for students to contact their teacher(s) when they miss school to obtain work that they have missed.
On-Site Attendance (see above for Distance Learning Attendance)
If you are tardy, please report to the Counseling Office upon your arrival.
Only written documentation will excuse tardiness.
If you are absent due to illness or a medical appointment: When you return to school, please bring a note from your parent/guardian or doctor to the Counseling Office so your absence can be excused. Place it in the box on Ms. Ruffin’s desk. The note must include the following:
- Your name, grade, and homeroom
- Dates and reason you were absent
- Parent/guardian signature and phone number
Parents/Guardians: You may call Ms. Ruffin if your child is absent: (415) 759-2773.
