The Department of Elections (DOE) has sent notices directly to sites to let site principals and administrators know that their site has been identified as a polling site for the June 2, 2026 Statewide Primary Election.

Caltrans will be closing 19th Avenue from Sloat Blvd. to Holloway Ave. in both directions from Friday, May 22 at 7 a.m. to Monday, May 25 at 10 a.m. The closure may impact school drop-off and pickup traffic, in addition to weekend travel. Students, families, and staff should expect major delays and detours, and plan for increased travel time, especially for school commutes.

Reclassification Round 0 is happening now. The list of eligible EL students has been shared with teachers. Next steps are Teacher Recommendation and Parent Consultation. Form is due June 10th.

SFUSD has received a request from the House Committee on Education and Workforce to appear at a hearing on June 10, 2026. Our core focus is ensuring that every student reaches our key outcomes: third-grade literacy, eighth-grade math, and college and career readiness.
