Elementary school classrooms are invited to visit the California Academy of Sciences for free via the Rock Fund Program, and receive an interactive science program led by professional museum educators.

The 6th Annual SFUSD Paraeducator Institute will be held virtually the week of August 8-12 (every day except Wednesday which is Digital District Day!).

High School Credit Recovery-Evening/Saturday classes are available for students who need additional credits to earn a high school diploma. Teacher salary, in accordance with the UESF contract, is $50.60/per hour. Approximately 80 extended hours will be paid out over the course of each semester.

Administrators: apply for a micro-grant of up to $5000 to learn with your colleagues. Apply by Sept. 16.

Dear 6-12 Principals: The Science Team is hosting August professional learning for new science teachers. If you hire a science teacher who is new to SFUSD or their science role, please invite them to attend a paid 3 days to learn about the science Core Curriculum. Aug. 3-5 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at C&I.
