The SFUSD Arts Department proudly presents the 2021-2022 Arts Ambassadors as part of honoring individuals and organizations who have inspired our educational community through the excellent work they have done to promote the vision and the promise of the Arts Department and school district.

The SF Opera DEC Department is hosting our inaugural Arts Integration and Healing weeklong workshop. K-12 Educators (Including Arts Specialists) are invited to sign up.  Each participant will receive a week of professional development and a $500 stipend to thank you for your time.

This 2 week summer program will prepare students with a focused opportunity to sharpen their reading, writing, and speaking skills with the goal of having them more academically prepared to be reclassified and ready for high school.

On behalf of A.C.T.'s Education & Community Programs Department, I am excited to invite you to Downtown High School's Spring Exhibition, No Less Than Human, showcasing monologues and short plays exploring the American Dream written and performed by the students of the school's Acting for Critical Transformations (ACT) Project.

A research-based and multicultural curriculum with high-quality literacy and character-building activities, this summer opportunity for African American/Black students is implemented at an official 2022 Summer Freedom School Site.
