English Learner students are eligible for reclassification based on meeting state and local assessments. These prequalified EL students must meet the remaining criteria of teacher evaluation and parent consultation to complete the reclassification process. Completion of forms are required and due on November 19th.
The California National Board Incentive Program will cover most candidate fees for teachers in high-priority schools. Get started this year and take advantage of the new incentives!
Students who are English Learners with higher levels of English proficiency may possibly earn a Seal of Biliteracy on their diploma if they take one of the World Language AP exams and score a 3 or higher.
