Sherman Elementary School, founded in 1892, is a K-5 CDE Distinguished Elementary School located in the Cow Hollow - Marina neighborhood of San Francisco.  Sherman has long been recognized for its balanced focus on academic excellence, social emotional growth, and equitable access for our diverse community of learners. In our efforts to provide the optimum conditions for learning and growth of every child in our care, Sherman also offers a range of additional programs that foster academic, environmental, artistic, and technological enrichment.

Sheridan Elementary School is located in the Oceanview Merced Ingleside District. We serve students in preschool as well as Kindergarten through 5th grade. At Sheridan, we meet the needs of each individual child and aim to provide an inclusive and psychologically safe environment where all students excel, regardless of race or economic status. Sheridan school community believes in high expectations and an outcome of success for all students.

Rooftop is a TK through 8th grade school with two campuses.  The TK to 4th grade campus is called the Twin Peaks Campus while the 5th through 8th grade campus is called the Mayeda Campus.  Campuses are located approximately two blocks apart.  

Rooftop strives to be much more than a school. Students, staff, and parents work together to create a respectful, caring community of learners focused on developing the unique strengths of each child. Rooftop's challenging educational program integrates the arts to empower all students to become academic achievers, critical thinkers, and effective problem-solvers.

Redding Elementary School serves a culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse group of students who come from all over San Francisco. To the Redding School community, social justice and equity mean providing the highest quality education possible to all students so that they have choices and are empowered to make change in our society. We do this by respecting, valuing, and honoring the unique experiences of our students and their families.

George Peabody is a successful, safe, and small elementary school with a family-feel located in San Francisco's Inner Richmond neighborhood. Our talented and experienced staff provides each student with meaningful learning experiences through purposeful instruction and a well articulated curriculum. We work to ensure that all students learn the skills and knowledge needed to build the foundation to lead successful lives and become productive citizens.

Jose Ortega Elementary School, a culturally diverse school, provides a rich, stimulating program that challenges all students to reach their fullest potential. Teachers use a variety of instructional strategies to fit the needs of all students. Students, parents, and staff work cooperatively to sustain a positive school climate. We strive to communicate honestly with parents in a culture of service. There are numerous opportunities for family involvement in school activities such as Family Nights, the Greening Team, UMOJA Cultural Day, Lunar New Year Events and Dia De Los Muertos.

At New Traditions, we strive to be a place where every child is supported in their learning and where every child is treated with respect and care. In order to provide the best possible education, our community comes together to provide students with skills to become lifelong learners through a well balanced curriculum.
