SFUSD is partnering with San Francisco on the Summer Together Initiative, which will offer free in-person and virtual summer camps and programs for thousands of SFUSD youth. Early registration is April 19 to May 7 for some populations, and open enrollment begins May 8.

We currently have a limited pool of substitute teachers. As a result, there may be an instance where a substitute teacher will not be available to cover an in-person classroom teacher’s absence.

Free Grab & Go meals will continue to be available when schools begin to reopen for in-person learning, though there will be some changes. See here for all updates.

Forms can be filled out online in ParentVUE or turned in on paper to your school on the first day.

SFUSD families are invited to join upcoming town halls to receive information about school reopenings and other topics.

There will be limited live instruction days for elementary school students from April 5 to April 8.

We are preparing for the return of extracurricular athletics for high school student athletes to practice and compete this spring, beginning April 12, 2021. More detailed information about each sport will be shared in the coming weeks.

We are committed to returning PK-12 students to in-person learning by the first day of the 2021-22 school year.

SFUSD is on track to offer in-person learning options at a select number of schools for our youngest students (those in Phase 2A) starting on April 12, 2021. Additional students will be offered in-person options before the end of April.
