Jean Parker Elementary School

Our small and mighty Community School serves students from the North Beach/ Russian Hill/ Chinatown area, as well as students who live throughout San Francisco. Convenient to many families' workplaces, Jean Parker is tucked just at the east end of the Broadway Tunnel. Our strength is our diversity, a reflection of the wonderful city that we call home.

John O'Connell High School

O’Connell offers an innovative instructional model to prepare all students for college and the professional world. Students participate in rigorous project-based learning, build enduring relationships, and develop 21st century skills. At O'Connell, we believe every student should be able to make choices about his or her future, and define (rather than wait for) opportunities. Our students are prepared to enter post-secondary options of four-year universities, community colleges, or livable wage careers.

New Traditions Creative Arts Elementary School

At New Traditions, we strive to be a place where every child is supported in their learning and where every child is treated with respect and care. In order to provide the best possible education, our community comes together to provide students with skills to become lifelong learners through a well balanced curriculum. We will continue to create an environment and culture that is both student-centered and solution based.

Mission High School

Mission is located in front of the beautiful Dolores Park where the neighborhoods of the Mission, Noe Valley, and the Castro meet. The campus is accessible from all parts of the City with its central location. We instill positive social values, acceptance, and an appreciation for the diversity represented at Mission. Our academic focus school-wide is aimed at preparing ALL of our students for college and careers with rigorous courses including a rich array of AP and honors courses.

McKinley Elementary School

Located in the heart of San Francisco, McKinley is a small school serving a diverse group of children from many areas of the city. McKinley's administration and staff are committed to building a school climate in which all children feel safe and are encouraged to express themselves. Our philosophy is that every child can achieve, and our teachers and staff take responsibility for challenging every student to learn. We recognize that students come with diverse assets, and strive to help every student achieve his or her highest potential.

Lowell High School

Founded in 1856 in San Francisco, Lowell High School is the oldest public high school west of the Mississippi. It is ranked as one of the highest performing public high schools in California, and has been recognized 4 times as a National Blue Ribbon School, 8 times as a California Distinguished School, and one time as a Gold Ribbon School. Lowell has been consistently ranked #1 in the Western Region for the number of Advanced Placement Exams given.

Abraham Lincoln High School

Abraham Lincoln High School is a comprehensive high school with a long history of high expectations and excellence. The goal is to provide a positive, nurturing school environment that supports high academic performance and high student self-image. We recognize that students bring their diverse experiences into the classroom, and believe instruction should be responsive to different student learning needs.

Gordon J. Lau Elementary School 劉貴明小學

Gordon J. Lau continues its longstanding tradition of advocacy and service in the Chinatown community, offering all students a relevant, standards-aligned curriculum that challenges them to think, question, and prepare for success in middle school and beyond. Being in the heart of Chinatown, we are proud to be the first to welcome newcomers and English Learner families as they transition into a new culture. Parents enroll in our school because the majority of staff speak multiple languages. We have a very veteran staff with very little turnover each year.

Leonard R. Flynn Elementary School

Flynn is a community-based TK-5 elementary school located in the Mission district and bordering Bernal Heights. At Flynn, all students, regardless of who they are, where they come from, or what their needs may be have access to a high level, quality education. Our instructional program is rigorous and culturally sensitive. We promote language development and encourage social/emotional growth for all our students. Social justice at Flynn means that there is a strong home-school connection that will support student well-being, assure satisfactory attendance, and high-levels of learning.

El Dorado Elementary School

El Dorado is a diverse school where teachers, staff, and parents come together to ensure the achievement of all students. El Dorado's focus is the creation of an environment that promotes teaching the whole child. The school invests its energies in programs that meet the academic and social needs of all students and uses standards-based instructional practices like Balanced Literacy. We believe in empowering teachers by creating a trusting, nurturing, and professional environment that allows them to think critically and create out of the box solutions for our community.
