We are writing to inform you that your child’s health records should be updated in order to attend school as required by state law. Your student may not be able to attend school in the fall if they do not meet the requirements on up-to-date immunizations. You must provide documentation for up-to-date immunizations, or proof of upcoming appointments for the required immunizations by the first day of school on August 17, 2022.

Make an appointment with your child’s doctor Link to this section
If your child needs to obtain additional immunizations prior to the next school year, make an appointment with your child’s doctor before school starts on Aug. 17. We recommend that you make an appointment with your child’s doctor as soon as possible since there may be a wait for appointments. Even if your appointment occurs after the first day of school, proof of appointment can be used to ensure that your student can attend school on August 17, 2022.
Immunizations provide protection for your student and their school community against serious diseases. For more information, go to sfusd.edu/immunizations.
Thank you for your attention to this important announcement. We look forward to welcoming you and your student back to school in the Fall. Please enjoy a safe summer.
