School videos, enrollment fair recordings, and school tours Link to this section
Dear Parent/Guardian:
School promo videos and enrollment fair recordings are back
We apologize if you had trouble viewing our schools’ promo videos recently. We announced on November 1 that YouTube recently changed their privacy settings, which caused our YouTube channel to be unavailable. This means that when you tried to view SFUSD-created videos, you might have seen a message that said we closed our YouTube account.
The good news is, we were able to restore the school videos to a new YouTube channel. For your convenience, you can find all of the school promo videos plus any recordings of the school info sessions on our virtual enrollment fair page. Please use this page to learn about our schools. We will continue to upload more videos as they become available.
School Tours
SFUSD made the decision to not offer in-person tours this year. This is because most of our students are not yet vaccinated, and we want to curb the spread of COVID-19. This decision is aligned with other parent meetings that schools are hosting, such as virtual parent-teacher conferences.
While we understand that an immersive, in-person experience is an important factor in deciding which school is best for your student, we are prioritizing the health and safety of our school community and offering alternatives to prospective families. From now through January 2022, schools are offering virtual tours for prospective families.
The virtual tours will be hosted by each school and will help provide an enriching and safe experience for families to take a look at the campus and understand what it’s like to attend our schools.
You can find the dates, times, and how to attend the virtual school tours at sfusd.edu/schooltours. You can also find the promo videos and recordings of the school information sessions on this site.
We will add more tour dates as schools make them available.
Main Round Deadline is February 4, 2022 Link to this section
