OVERVIEW OF INITIAL AND SUMMATIVE ELPAC TESTING

Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing  Domains are tested  -   Learn More about the domains

Initial & Summative ELPAC tests may only be administered by qualified, trained SFUSD staff. Training must be renewed annually. Testing coordinators for each site are trained by RPA/AAO for group tested parts and they, in turn, train those on site who test students in the group tested domains. One to one parts (K-2 all & 3-12 speaking) of the test require supplemental certification. During Phase II, non newcomer sites must assign a group trained staff member to take the supplemental training to administer the 1:1 domains.
