COVID-19 Public Health Guidance and Resources

The first day of school is August 16, 2021. School sites have been preparing for students to return in-person to provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students when they return.

We understand that families are concerned given the unpredictable nature of COVID-19. Health and safety remains SFUSD’s top priority. All schools are ready for in-person learning. The San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH) has approved all SFUSD schools to reopen based on compliance with local and state public health guidance.
