In light of the evolving nature of the pandemic, SFUSD schools are offering virtual tours from now through January 2022 for prospective families.
No in-person tours will be offered this year.
Why is SFUSD not offering in-person school tours?
While we understand that an immersive, in-person experience is an important factor in deciding which school is best for your student, we are prioritizing the health and safety of our school community and offering alternatives to prospective families.
Since most of SFUSD’s students are not yet vaccinated, the decision was made to hold virtual tours to curb the spread of COVID-19. This decision is aligned with other parent meetings that schools are hosting, such as virtual parent-teacher conferences.
What will the virtual tours look like?
The virtual tours will be hosted by each school and will help provide an enriching and safe experience for families to take a look at the campus and understand what it’s like to attend our schools.
Where is the schedule for the virtual school tours and how can I join the tours?
You can find the dates and times for the virtual school tours along with either a Zoom link or a registration link for you to join in at our Virtual Tours page at sfusd.edu/schooltours. We will add more dates, times, and registration information as they become available.
