Get Free At-Home COVID-19 Tests from the Federal Government
Families can now request a third batch of eight free rapid antigen tests, without shipping fees, from the federal government. The tests are completely free. Orders will usually ship in 7-12 days.
If your household did not order the first and second batch of tests (4 each), you can still do so for a total of 16 free tests.
Order your tests now so you have them when you need them at covidtests.gov.
SFUSD Testing Options
SFUSD is providing COVID-19 testing to students, staff, and families in multiple ways:
- PCR Tests via Color (self-swab kits)
- Rapid Antigen Test via Safer Together (on-site mobile testing)
- Take-home Rapid Antigen Tests

Other Testing Options
You can also access testing at locations throughout San Francisco, which includes your primary health care provider and community and public testing sites.
