About Kindergarten to College (K2C) 

The City & County of San Francisco's Kindergarten to College (K2C) program, in partnership with San Francisco Unified School District, will automatically open a college savings account with a $50 deposit for each student entering kindergarten or a program grade in SFUSD.

To open the K2C account, SFUSD will share, confidentially, certain student information with the San Francisco Treasurer's Office, the financial partner, Citibank, and administrative partner(s) solely for opening the account.

Please read the attached documents for more information on K2C.

Opting Out 

If you want to OPT OUT and do NOT want SFUSD to share this information to open an account, you must download and fill out the document and mail it by September 30 of the fall semester or January 31 of the spring semester.

If you want to opt out later, you may download this form and mail it to SFUSD, Attn K2C Program, 555 Franklin Street, 3rd Floor, San Francisco, CA 94102.
