Greetings African American/Black Seniors and Families,

Please join us Saturday, October 1st at Mission High School for an opportunity to get Cash for College. 

From 10am-1pm, you will have an opportunity to begin your FAFSA application with support from college counselors and volunteers. You will also have opportunities to learn about additional ways to obtain funds to support your post-secondary plans.

If available, please bring the documents listed on the flyer attached, which includes: 

  • 2021 Federal Income Tax Return(s)
  • Social Security Number (SSN) and Green Card Number for students and parents, if applicable
  • Month and year when parents married, separated, or divorced
  • W-2's & other income forms (Disability, Social Security, Child Support or any untaxed income
  • Current bank statements
  • Records of businesses, farms, or other real estate
  • Records of stocks, bonds, and other investments

Food will be provided and prizes raffled. 

Parents and guardians are highly encouraged to attend, if available, as your support is always needed and valuable. Though encouraged, not required. Guidance will be provided to all students in attendance.
