San Francisco Youth Theatre (SFYT) is offering two new classes for youth ages 13-20:

Queer Drama

Queer Drama is a class for LGBTQIA+ youth ages 13-20 to explore queer narratives through theater, storytelling, and performance.

In this class, students will learn about queer playwrights, the art of drag, and share their own narratives while building a supportive and inclusive cohort with their peers.

  • Jan. 24-31, 2023
  • Tuesdays, 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Cost: $250 or pay what you can
  • Location: Stage Werx Theatre 

Actuación en Español

Actuación en Español, taught by Dyana Diaz and Guillermo Ornelas, is an acting workshop for youth ages 13-20, taught in Spanish for young people interested in venturing into acting through scene work and improvisational games.

  • Jan. 26 to Apr. 27, 2023
  • Thursdays, 4:30 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Cost: Pay what you can
