The San Francisco Public Library (SFPL) is committed to supporting San Francisco students by offering a free digital library card. We teamed up with the San Francisco Unified School District to provide each student with a full access public library card: the Scholar Card.

Every SFUSD student already has a Scholar Card account. Students who have not yet activated their Scholar Card can go to any SFPL library to get their card today! 

Use your library card to access the library's digital collection of children's eBooks, eAudiobooks, research database for homework, and movie and music streaming platforms -- all available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
