SFUSD families of K-8 students can expect to receive a communication about attendance from SFUSD this first week of October.
The message will read: "Hi from SFUSD! We want to check in on how things are going and see how we can help." Families can text "STOP" to the number at any time to unsubscribe.
We will be reaching out to families of students who have been absent 5% or more days this school year. Families can expect to receive text messages and physical letters about the number of days students have missed school. Our goal is to ensure families are aware of the number of absences of their students and engage together around supports as needed to ensure positive attendance for all students. Because learning is better when we are all together!
