The SFUSD Facilities Services Division is partnering with DPW on a series of Beautification Day Events. As part of the Shared Schoolyard Program, your school site was selected to participate, and the Facilities Services Division will hold a Beautification Day Event on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Sherman Elementary School.
Neighborhood Beautification Days help to keep San Francisco beautiful through landscaping and gardening projects, graffiti removal, and litter cleanup in our neighborhoods. Events can be an incredible, fun, and rewarding opportunity for the school community to work.
Work will take about 3 hours, with everyone returning to the kickoff location around noon.
This session is designed for Families and Students.
This session is hosted/facilitated by Facilities.
Students can earn their Community Service Hours while attending Beautification Day with SFUSD for graduation requirements. Join our next Beautification Day at the Sherman Elementary School on November 4, 2023.
