High School Credit Recovery Summer Opportunities

Through the Office of Extended Learning and Support (ExLS), SFUSD offers Summer High School Credit Recovery (HSCR) opportunities for students that need to earn credits towards graduation and/or to become UC-CSU eligible.  If a student earns a D or an F in a previously taken course, they may be eligible to participate in this program by attending classes offered In-Person or through Distance Learning.  

Summer classes will be offered In-Person at John O’Connell HS, Wallenberg HS and Lowell HS as well as online.   If you believe you or your student might qualify for participation, please reach out directly to the assigned high school counselor and they can assist in the registration process.  Registration for Summer HSCR classes began on Monday, April 7. Classes will begin on Thursday, June 12, 2025.   If you have any questions about HSCR, please contact us at ExLS@sfusd.edu.
