Foster Youth Services Coordinating Program (FYSCP) Celebrates May as National Foster Care Month

Each year the FYSCP team takes time to acknowledge, celebrate, and honor our foster youth community. We celebrate the achievements of our foster youth and appreciate those who advocate for the educational needs of students in foster care. We value your support towards making permanency and education a priority for our youth.

 

What you can do to support National Foster Youth Awareness Month: 

  • Share a book about foster care (English and Spanish)
  • Consider becoming a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate)
  • Think about becoming and/or support the recruitment of foster parents
