Welcome back to school!

We hope you and your student(s) had a wonderful summer.

Student Nutrition Services is looking forward to having your students dine with us again this year! Here’s a quick reminder that the following middle and high schools require Student Meal PINs for Breakfast and Lunch: Sites with Meal PINs. All school meals are still free for all students.

What to Know About Meal PINs:

  • Your student will receive an email to their SFUSD email address that states their personal Meal PIN. Search “Nutrition”.
  • There are a few ways your student can find their Meal PIN. You can help!
    • Check the StudentVUE Mobile App
      • Login
      • Click on “Student Info”
      • Click on “Additional Information” on the bottom right
      • Find your meal PIN
    • Scan their Student ID
      • Students can scan the barcode on their Student ID. (This is the fastest method)
    • Check their SFUSD Email
      • Search “Nutrition”
  • If your student does not have any of these methods of meal PIN at the time of service, they are still allowed to take a free meal. However, we would appreciate they ask for help finding theirs as soon as they can.

Why students have to use meal pins

Student Nutrition Services must keep track of the number of complete meals we serve to students. This counting helps us get paid for the free meals we offer. Meal PINs allow us to easily track # of meals served. Meal PINs do not charge their account.
