Announcement Message

We are excited to announce that the SFUSD Open Enrollment Benefits Election Portal (Bswift) is now live!

This year, ALL ELIGIBLE EMPLOYEES are required to log in and make their SFUSD-administered benefit elections for the 2026 plan year. You will use the Bswift portal to enroll in or make changes to your SFUSD-administered benefits including Dental Insurance, FSA Plans, Aflac, and Voluntary Life Insurance.

Important:

Open Enrollment for SFUSD-administered benefits is available October 6 – October 31, 2025.
If you do not complete your enrollment by the October 31 deadline, your SFUSD-administered benefits will end effective December 31, 2025.

Log In Information:

Website: sfusd.bswift.com
Username: Your SFUSD email address
Initial Password: Last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN)

Once logged in, you will be prompted to create a new password and can begin your enrollment.

Medical and Vision Benefits (SFHSS - City and County of San Francisco)

The San Francisco Health Service System (SFHSS) Open Enrollment period for medical and vision benefits began on October 1 and ends on October 24, 2025 at 5 PM Pacific Time

Employees who wish to make changes to their medical and vision benefits must do so directly through SFHSS. Plan options and enrollment information can be found at this link: https://www.sfhss.org/oe2026/usd.

If you are not making changes to your medical or vision benefits, then no action is required.

SFUSD-Adminstered Benefits:

  • Licensed Enrollment Counselors are available by phone and in-person appointment throughout the Open Enrollment period. Phone consultations are available in English, Spanish, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Sign up for an appointment now at https://sfusd.annualenrollment.net
  • Attend our Open Enrollment Benefits Fair this Wednesday, October 8 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 555 Franklin Street, where you can speak with members of our Benefits Team and meet with our vendors, including Delta Dental and Aflac. Learn more about the Benefits Fair.

Medical and Vision Benefits: 

Free 1:1 Retirement Planning Appointments:

  • Non-commissioned Financial Advisors Carlos Almazan and Kim Nicolas from SchoolsFirst FCU, SFUSD’s 403(b)/457(b) plan administrator, will offer complimentary 45-minute in-person sessions for all employees on October 9–10, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. at 135 Van Ness Ave., Room 100.
