The San Francisco Health Services Agency (SFHSA) is giving a one-time prepaid grocery card to San Francisco CalFresh households. This CalFresh Emergency Grocery Card program will help people buy healthy food and reduce financial stress during this time.
For Families:
- Families with CalFresh benefits will receive instructions on how to claim their one-time emergency grocery card.
- If you are a family in need and haven’t received instructions, please check your account or contact SFHSA for assistance.
We encourage you to help share this information with families and community partners who may benefit.

- Share accurate information about the program with families and your networks
- Use the Technical Assistance Toolkit for step-by-step instructions with screenshots to help clients claim their grocery cards
