Parent & Family Engagement Information

SFUSD is committed to strong family–school partnerships. Each year, districts must share the Board Policy on Parent Engagement (BP 6020) and the Administrative Regulation (AR 6020), which outline how families are informed of their rights and how they can participate in decision-making, support learning at home, and engage in school and district activities.

All requirements in BP/AR 6020 are also reflected and put into practice in the Student & Family Handbook, which families receive each year.
