The SF Mime Troupe’s Youth Theater Project (YTP) invites students ages 13-18 to apply for Spring Play Lab 2026, a paid after-school theater internship focused on acting, improvisation, and collaborative play creation. Participants work closely with professional teaching artists to build performance skills while devising and producing an original one-act play in an ensemble-based, youth-centered environment.
Spring Play Lab is open to students of all experience levels who are curious, creative, and excited to collaborate. In addition to hands-on professional theater training, students are compensated for their participation and will be provided snacks and dinner at every workshop session.
The program runs February 24–April 21, 2026, at the SF Mime Troupe Studio.
The application deadline has been extended to February 6, 2026.
