Thank you for your patience as we worked to reschedule the community taste tests! We have now confirmed the dates, times, and locations below. If you are still interested in attending one of these taste tests, please submit a new interest form.
See below for the NEW dates, times, and locations for the four taste tests.
March 12, 2026
3:15 pm - 4:15 pm at Malcolm X Academy Elementary School
4:30 pm - 5:30 pm at Visitacion Valley Middle School
March 13, 2026
2:15 pm - 3:15 pm at Lafayette Elementary School
4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Wallenberg High School
If you or your student would like to attend one of the above taste tests, please complete this Community Taste Test Interest Form.
Interest Form Disclaimer: Please note that it’s not guaranteed that you will be selected to attend, we are using a priority system that puts student attendees first, especially if they attend a school that serves vended meals. We will notify you via email if you’ve been selected to participate.

About SFUSD Student Nutrition Services’ Community Taste Tests
SFUSD Student Nutrition Services is conducting community taste tests to evaluate meal vendors for the upcoming contract. We need your help!
Student Nutrition Services (SNS) published a Request for Proposal (RFP) in January 2026 for a vendor to provide Prepared Meals & Delivery Services. This contract is currently held by Revolution Foods. SNS typically goes out to bid on this contract approximately every five (5) years. Issuing a request for bids is a standard, required part of the procurement process.
The Community Taste Tests result will directly impact which vendor SNS will move forward with. SNS will host four taste tests with limited capacity. Our top priority will be getting feedback from students who attend the schools that receive these vended meals.
