Announcement Message

Project Avary is a nonprofit organization that supports youth ages 8–18 who have been impacted by system-induced parental separation, including incarceration, immigration detention, & deportation.

Our programs are completely free for youth and their families and are designed to help young people build community, confidence, and leadership skills.

Through Project Avary, youth can participate in a variety of programs, including:

  • Weekly online mentoring and support groups (6-week sessions held throughout the year - hosted on Zoom in the afternoon or evening)
  • Outdoor adventure retreats and summer camp, with activities like surfing, horseback riding, cooking, and more
  • Leadership development opportunities, where youth can grow within the program and eventually become paid leaders
