The Board of Education’s ad-hoc committee on public engagement conducted its third meeting on Thursday, April 9 at Lafayette Elementary. During this meeting, an initial draft of the Board’s engagement plan was presented, which was created based on all of the feedback that was received in the first two committee meetings earlier this year. This plan includes how the Board will engage the community on a routine / ongoing basis and how the Board will engage the community on its major decisions.

We recognize that some people could not attend but would like to provide feedback on the plan. To capture your feedback, we have created a short feedback form in English, Spanish, and Chinese:

We welcome your feedback and ask that any feedback is submitted by Friday, April 24. We will review all feedback and incorporate it into an updated Board engagement plan for meeting #4 on Thursday, May 7.
