Student Nutrition Services (SNS) has published an RFP for a vendor to contract with the San Francisco Unified School District (District) to provide Prepared Meals & Delivery Services. This contract is currently held by Revolution Foods. SNS typically goes out to bid on this contract approximately every five (5) years. Issuing a request for bids is a standard, required part of the procurement process. Further details about this RFP can be found at the bottom of this message.
The Community Taste Tests results will directly impact which vendor SNS selects on behalf of the District. SNS will host our taste tests with limited capacity. Our top priority will be to gather feedback from students attending the schools that receive these vended meals.
Quick Facts:
- If you are a parent/guardian, but your student will be attending, please complete the form on behalf of your student and submit their name and school.
- If you attended a previous taste test, please note that we will prioritize new attendees for this round.
- Disclaimer: It’s not guaranteed that you will be selected to attend. We use a priority system that puts student attendees first, especially those attending a school that serves vended meals. We will notify you via email if you’ve been selected to participate.
Details about this RFP Process:
"The District has elected to reissue the solicitation to incorporate updated specifications and clarify scope requirements identified during the initial solicitation process, which align with the District’s operational needs.
