The Aquaworkforce Internship

The Aquaworkforce Internship is a paid opportunity for high school students to work as YMCA staff while earning certifications in CPR and Emergency Oxygen, qualifying them to become lifeguards. 

In addition to lifeguard training, participants will gain valuable workforce development skills, including financial literacy, college readiness, social-emotional learning, interview techniques, and resume building. 

After completing the internship, students will receive ongoing support through one-on-one mentoring and job placement assistance.
