Advocating for Your Black Child (A4YBC) is a free, 8‑week psycho‑education series designed specifically for Black parents and caregivers of Black children and youth (elementary through high school).
This culturally responsive, trauma‑informed program provides parenting interventions that address the intersectionality of race and other critical issues impacting Black families, including mental health, neurological, and learning differences. Participants will gain valuable tools and resources to support their children’s behavioral and learning needs while navigating school, political, and social systems. Classes are led by trained clinical and health professionals of African descent who are also parents and deeply understand the unique needs of this community.
