A recently passed Senate Bill is requiring a once per year child abuse/neglect prevention training for volunteers who interact with student while outside of direct supervision of a parent/guardian or school employee.

The training is available in English and Spanish audio with many more languages to soon be available in writing. 

Parents/guardians continue to NOT be required to complete a criminal background check per AR 6153.
