Join SFUSD in Celebrating Inclusive Schools Week!

Please join us in celebrating the 26th Annual Inclusive Schools Week™, December 7-11, 2026. In SFUSD, we view Inclusive Schools Week™ as an annual IEP for our school sites. The week provides an opportunity to celebrate the progress our schools have made while also setting school wide goals that will strengthen a culture of access, participation, and belonging. 

This year's theme, Together We Learn, celebrates the power of learning together. Inclusive education is about more than where students are taught. It is about creating school communities where every student is welcomed, valued, and provided meaningful opportunities to participate, contribute, and grow alongside peers. When students with diverse abilities, backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives learn together, classrooms become stronger, relationships deepen, and every learner benefits. 

How You Can Support Inclusive Schools Week:

  1. Plan activities and lessons celebrating inclusion with your whole school community.
  2. Fill out the Inclusive Schools Survey to share your school's activities. 
  3. Celebrate inclusion at your school December 7-11, 2026
