Our Mission Statement:
The Mission Bay Hub provides a supportive and relationship-centered learning environment for students in SFUSD who are underrepresented in STEM fields to counteract the equity and opportunity gap. Students will grow their confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills to become agents of change in their communities and beyond.
We do this through…
- Project-based learning and real-world applications in a cohort model.
- Leveraging industry connections in health, life science, engineering institutions, research labs, and community partners.
- Creating a sense of belonging that honors every student’s identity
